My Story

Moran's Custom Leather and Boot Shop in Miles City, Montana builds and restores boots, saddles, and tack. My goal is to build sturdy and reliable products that will result in happy returning customers. I started working with leather 50 years ago because I was frustrated with store-bought products not holding up in rugged conditions. I spent my days cowboying and packing up in the mountains and when I returned to camp at night I would work on projects. In 2018 I focused my time solely on leather and opened a shop. It started as a little booth in another shop in Miles City. However, I soon outgrew the booth and moved into the new shop. Once I had more room I expanded my skills and started building custom boots.
